Introduction
Most people have experienced stress at some point in their lives, with a feeling of being under too much mental or emotional pressure. Stress can display itself in a number of ways. You may experience physical signs, such as tiredness, headaches or an upset stomach. You may find it hard to sleep or eat well, or you may suffer from irritability, memory and concentration problems or mood swings. Everyone can react differently to stress but in some cases, when things feel out of control or you feel unable to cope, stress might develop into a mental health problem like anxiety or depression.
The Workshop
We’ve specifically developed a stress management workshop to raise awareness in employees about what stress is, how to recognise it and how to manage it effectively.
The stress management workshop combines an interesting mix of informative theory and practical techniques, along with a 30 day stress management plan to follow. By highlighting the causes, symptoms and management strategies of stress, we can help to minimise the risks of mental health problems occurring.
