Workshop Overview

Long periods of sitting can leave us feeling stiff, tired and low on energy, especially during busy working days.

The Desk Yoga workshop is a light, energising session that brings simple stretches, movement and breathing techniques directly to the desk. Adapted from traditional yoga practices, these exercises are easy to follow and designed to release tension, improve posture and help the body feel more comfortable throughout the day.

With a focus on small, practical changes, participants are guided through movements that can be used anytime during the working day. The session offers a chance to pause, reset and re-energise, helping people feel more focused, refreshed and ready to continue with their work.

Participant Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Learn simple stretches and movements that can be done at their desk
  • Experience techniques to release tension and reduce stiffness
  • Understand how movement and breathing can boost energy and focus
  • Feel more relaxed, refreshed and comfortable during the working day
  • Gain practical ways to build movement into their daily routine

Format Options

30 or 60-minute online session

A light, guided session introducing desk-based stretches and breathing techniques.

60 or 90-minute workshop (onsite)

A more interactive session with guided movement and time to practise techniques together.

Flexible delivery options

Sessions can be booked as a one-off workshop, a short series (for example 6, 8 or 12 sessions), or as part of an ongoing wellbeing programme.
