Workshop Overview
The way we breathe has a direct impact on how we feel. Our breath is closely linked to the nervous system, meaning that slow, steady breathing can help calm the body and mind, while faster, shallow breathing can increase feelings of stress or tension. Through simple breath work techniques, we can begin to influence our state, helping us feel more relaxed, focused and in control throughout the day.
The Intentional Breathing session introduces simple, practical techniques that can be used at any point in the day, particularly in moments of pressure or stress. These techniques are easy to learn and require no prior experience, making them accessible and effective for everyone.
This workplace wellbeing session helps organisations support employees with simple tools to reduce stress, improve focus and maintain a more balanced state throughout the working day.
This intentional breathing workshop requires no prior experience and is suitable for all employees. It pairs naturally with our Workplace Posture session and sits within our wider Wellness Activities programme.
