Understanding Mental Ill Health

Workshop Overview

Mental ill health can present in many different ways, and a lack of understanding can often lead to uncertainty or stigma.

The Understanding Mental Ill Health workshop helps build awareness of a range of mental health conditions, including those that are less commonly understood. It explores common misconceptions, increases understanding and supports a more informed and compassionate approach.

Participants are guided through how to recognise when someone may need support and how to respond in a safe and appropriate way. The session helps create a workplace culture where people feel more confident, aware and able to support one another.
